Still

I believe...

in honesty.

in trusting.

in sideways glances.

in goosebumps.

in slow dances, holding hands, and no-such-thing-as-enough-kissing.

everything they ever told me...
There's a light inside you.
You're sunshine.
You're sexy.
You're the most amazing woman.
You make my heart smile.

in perfect moments...
Once upon a time, a girl and a boy went on their first date -- driving around, visiting her favorite spots around town, a quick stop at Burger King (of course), and a walk around the park.

During their stroll, the girl and boy glanced at each other often, crooked smiles plastered to their faces, as they were for most of the day.

She squinted as the sun caught her eyes trying to look up at the tall, handsome guy beside her. He moved a hair out of her eyes, and they brushed arms as they walked along, side by side.

Not long after, the girl felt the boy's hands on her shoulders, and heard a lengthy, high-pitched, squealy "Errrrrrrrrt" come out of his mouth. He pointed to the six-sided sign. "Says stop," he said. She giggled.

Continuing on the path, they stumbled upon a painter capturing in oil the rolling hills around and valley below.

"It's like a movie," she said. "This is amazing." He agreed, and took his hand in hers...

I am a warrior.

Movie Mania!
Featuring the TLJ-
Roger Ebert 4-star system.
Usually, Rog and I agree. Usually.

The Dark Knight
TLJ: 3.5 stars
Ebert: 4 stars
I agree, it's an "engrossing tragedy." A great film that makes you think.

I Love You, Man
TLJ: 3 stars
Ebert: 3.5 stars
I liked it, too, Rog, but not as much as you. Yes, you're right -- Jason Segel is my new favorite guy though I do still love my Paul Rudd, too. I laughed enough that I was happy I rented it. Corny, silly, but smart in places, too.

Ballerina
TLJ: 2.5 stars
Ebert: No review online
This movie followed the ballerinas of the Russian Kirov and other ballets from youth to company. I liked learning how much the dancers sacrificed, how perfectionistic they are (even more than they're teachers and choreographers), and how dedicated, but what was missing? Dancing! They kept teasing me with brief pieces from various ballets. I wanted to see more of the payoff of their hard work.
