A "so, it's been a week" edition

* Seven days.

* Since I last posted.

* I'm sorry for the quiet.

* I'm glad the 4th is over.

* Parades just aren't parades anymore -- you know, marching bands, cheerleaders, color guard. Now it's all showy... and way more tacky than it ever was before.

* I hate summer holidays.

* How many days until fall?

* School starts next week.

* I bought the official school notebook.

* Yes, that pretty much drained my savings account.

* Kidding, but why are the school notebooks so expensive?

* I bought a new binder -- it's yellow canvas.

* I guess I'll write "I <3 John Cusack" on it with my Bic Stic (TM) pen.

* July is the boringest month.

* This is my boringest post.
