It’s that time of year — the top this and that lists are coming out left and right. As I did last year, I’m looking back at some of the highlights of 2015.
2015 found me participating in my first photography show ever! Read about that and see the two photos I had featured with other artists.
Of the hundreds of articles I’ve written, I decided to just choose a few to highlight, so here are:
My Top Five Reviews, Essays and Articles of 2015!
This Summer found me eagerly awaiting the second season of ‘True Detective’. After sitting through the entire thing (and I still stand by this), I decided the mustache was the best part.
Also in the Summer, I wondered do I need a Hazmat suit to read library books? You won’t believe what I found in some…
This Autumn, I chatted with Grammy-nominated Loreena McKennitt. It was one of the most fun celeb chats I had in 2015 (along with Michael Learned and Andrea McArdle). I wrote it differently than my usual previews, which was fun. (*Read how our paths originally crossed years ago here.)
In July, I was reminded of some Life lessons at the DMV. Who would have thought the experience would be about more than torture, annoyance, and a bad photo?
And in February, I wrote a tribute to Leonard Nimoy (and to Spock). I had to say goodbye to one of my favorite characters and actors. His legacy will live long, and for that, we all prosper.
It’s been a busy, fun, challenging, interesting, artful, creative year. My hope is that 2016 will be all of those things, as well as peaceful, truly, fully, finally, around the world. Let there be peace on earth, and let it begin with me.
Happy Holidays. And Happy New Year.
