Since this site began in 2001, there have been a few blog incarnations. The original personal one, in the early aughts, was archived years ago. When I had a newspaper column called Tara’s Take, I wrote there, not here. When freelancing full-time, I blogged here, often incorporating pieces as part of the posts. After moving away from full-time freelancing (and writing, generally), Muse took a multi-year vacation, returning only recently, and so the blog’s changing again.

Some of my favorite blog posts live here. I hope to post more regularly now that I’ve been reacquainted with my keyboard.

I find I have things to say again.
